Dear Parents, Carers and Families,
In a change to the usual format, if all has gone well, then this update will be a short and slightly rough and ready video of myself. Like all right-thinking people, I hate the sound of my own voice but earlier this year when we met some parents as part of our parental focus group sessions, it was suggested that the occasional video would be both more accessible and reach other parts of our community that my written updates might not.
The video itself is a version of the message I shared with Year 6 parents last week about our values and the importance of families in shaping the future of their children and their children’s children. I won’t pretend it’s of the highest quality; I don’t want to spend public money on a ‘halo ring’ or other fancy bits of kit used by some online, but we may use this format occasionally in the future depending on the response and feedback, as we try to give a true sense of what the school is like.
