Personal Development
The aim of the school is to provide our students with a full range of opportunities beyond the curriculum to develop their skills and interests and complement the passions they have outside school. We identify student interests in a range of fields, looking to provide clubs, competitions, visits and visiting speakers that can enrich and inspire. Our school day allows us to encourage extra-curricular provision and, in STEP time, the development of wider skills. We have also developed our student leadership programme to allow progression from Year 7 through to Year 13, providing opportunities in a range of different areas. Each year students are involved in a summer enrichment week which allows them to explore their interests beyond the curriculum, including trips abroad.
